Lab Space (Gavin 213 & 214)

PI Zou occupies over 900 square feet of wet lab space in the Gavin Engineering Research Laboratory maintained within the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering at Auburn University, including

(a) A 600 square feet of Physicochemical research lab

(b) A 350 square feet of Bio-safety Level 2 research lab

The space is equipped with two exhaust fume hoods, a Labconco biosafety cabinet, and a sample storage space that includes three 4°C refrigerators, a -20°C freezer, and a -80°C freezer, a Thermo Scientific B-Pure™ water purification system, and an ultrapure water system. Further, within the basement of the Gavin building, both groups utilize a 4°C walk-in room, autoclave, and ice machine.
